Vietnam’s cashew nut exports to China surge in nine months
Vietnam exported 42,199 tonnes of cashew nuts worth 327 million USD to China in the first eight months of 2019, up 60.8 percent in volume and 35.4 percent in value year-on-year, according to the Ministry of Industry and Trade.

In the seven months, Vietnam exported US$24.83 billion more than it imported from the US, up 34.2 percent from the same time in 2018.

(VEN) - At a recent meeting with the Trade Remedies Authority of Vietnam (TRAV) in Hanoi, Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Tuan Anh said Vietnam must strengthen state management of trade remedies evasion and origin fraud, and build coordination mechanisms with fellow members of its free trade agreements in order to handle trade disputes.
