Unilever aids hundreds of frontline anti-pandemic bases

Unilever's aid package has been quickly allocated to 105 epidemic prevention places in 37 provinces and cities. The essential sanitation products such as soap, hand sanitizer and surface disinfectant solutions supported health workers and people to apply Covid-19 preventive measures in a simple and effective way as recommended by the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health of Vietnam.

As of April 22, Vietnam reported 358 people quarantined at hospitals because of close contacts with infected people and 18,263 quarantined at other concentration facilities. While medical resources are limited, the aid by Unilever has helped the frontline force to restrain the Covid-19 epidemic as what we have made and prepare to enter a possible long radical battle in the coming time.

Unilever has pledged an aid package of VND 50 billion to the prevention of the Covid-19 epidemic, which is delivered in several phases, and used for educational communication activities carried out jointly with the Ministry of Health.
