 Vietnam was the second biggest supplier of coffee for Belgium after Brazil in 2018.

The Gulfood Exhibition 2019, the world’s largest annual food and beverages trade show, was held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai from February 17-21, during which Vietnamese enterprises signed large contracts worth approximately US$20 million.

Vietnam has now begun officially exporting its mangoes to the US market, after the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) gave permission for the import of fresh mangoes from the Southeast Asian nation in 2017.

The Vietnamese aquatic sector set a target of raising its export revenue to US$10 billion in 2019, heard a conference on the aquatic export plan in 2019 held by the Vietnam Association of Seafood Exporters and Producers (VASEP) in Ho Chi Minh City on February 16.
