Vietnamese food and beverages are attracting huge attention from visitors to the largest specialty food industry event in North America held in New York from June 30 to July 2.

More than 140 businesses are taking part in the Vietnam-Laos trade fair in Vientiane from June 28 to July 2 to promote the bilateral friendship, cooperation and development.

(VEN) - Italian Trade Commission (ITA/ICE), Trade Promotion Section of the Italian Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City, and Federlegno Arredo Eventi, the Italian Federation of wood, furniture and furnishing manufacturers, jointly organized the first trade mission to Vietnam to explore the potential market for furniture and interior design “made in Italy”. (VEN) - Foreign retailers not only prioritize the sale of Vietnamese goods through their systems in Vietnam, they also import Vietnamese products for sale abroad. Apart from increasing Vietnamese exports, foreign retailers have helped improved the competiveness and brand development of Vietnamese goods in foreign markets.   

Good prospect is forecast in the export of several agricultural products, including rice, in the rest of the year as demand in importing markets has shown optimistic signs, according to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD).

(VEN) - The number of anti-dumping and anti-subsidy lawsuits by the US has doubled under the current administration, exposing imports from Vietnam and other countries to new challenges, deputy director of the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Trade Remedies Authority Chu Thang Trung said recently. He spoke at the Vietnam-US Trade Forum held on May 18 in Ho Chi Minh City.
